Nurse, A World of Care has received a 2008
Book of the Year Award from the
American Journal of Nursing. Published by Emory University, the book is distributed by the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International.
Through the words of Peter Jaret and photographs of Karen Kasmauski, the book captures the vital contributions nurses make to global health, as well as the significant challenges they face. Marla Salmon, RN, ScD, FAAN, is senior editor of the book.
